The Company holds an indirect working interest in the PNGF Sud licences, offshore Pointe Noire in the Republic of Congo since January 2017, through part of its subsidiary, Hemla E&P Congo.
The Company has entered into the licence of OML 113 following the purchase of a previous licence partner's interest in addition to entering into an SPV with the licence operator in late 2019.
The Company is entering into the Sinapa (Block 2) and Esperança (Blocks 4A and 5A) licenses following the purchase of the previous license partner's interest. PetroNor E&P is acquiring a 78.57% share from Svenska Petroleum Exploration and becoming the Operator of these offshore licenses.
PetroNor E&P has regained the A4 license late in 2020. The license is located within the same proven play trend as in the Sangomar field, a play which is expected to extend southward into The Gambia.
In Senegal, the Company reserves its rights to the 90% operated working interest in exploration blocks Rufisque Offshore Profond (“ROP”) and Senegal Offshore Sud Profond (“SOSP”) (together the “Senegal Licences”). The Company’s Senegal Licences are located offshore southern and central Senegal
